What is the catch of the free AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other student version licenses?

Qualified students can download a three-year educational license, which will provide access to full versions of AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Fusion 360, Inventor, Maya, and other products.

In general, the AutoCAD, Revit Civil 3D, and other student version license is the full professional version. The only drawback is the Educational plot stamp warning and watermark that is displayed when a drawing is printed if it was ever opened with a student licensed version.

Where to Obtain the free AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other student version licenses.

1. Head over to the AutoDesk Education portal.
 2. Choose your software of interest: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Fusion, Inventor, Revit, Maya, or others.

Then, pick your option: Individual or Institution

Next, create an Account or Log-in if you already have one.

AutoCAD or Revit Student Version 

After that, set up your educational profile.

After filling out the form, you will then get a confirmation at your school email address. Click on the email link to activate your account.

Finally, after completing the last steps, you will receive the details with your serial number and product key. Next, activate your Free AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other student version licenses.  Now, you are ready to start your course.
