In this exercise, we will learn about exporting an STM stormwater file to SSA.
Exporting a network to an STM file
The native file format of SSA is an .spf, which includes the entire project file. However, the pipe network component uses the STM (Hydraflow Storm Sewers) file format. In Civil 3D, we can export an STM file that can be later imported in SSA.
To export the network to an STM file format:
- In the Toolspace, prospector tab, navigate to the network to be exported,
- Right-click and click Export to Storm Sewers.
