In this exercise, we will learn about  SSA stormwater outfalls.

4.5.2   Outfalls

An Outfall is the final destination of a drainage leg.  Beyond this point, water leaves the system. Outfalls receive flow from a single link or Subbasin. 

They have boundary conditions such as free, normal depth, fixed elevation, tidal, or user-defined time series of time vs. stage.

To design the outfall:

1. Double-click on it.

2. We have nothing to change since the most important parameter, the invert elevation, is already set from Civil 3D.

3. Click on close to dismiss the Outfalls window.
